Nothing came easy for the Governors on Saturday, as they fell 15-5 to Wheeler High School. Wheeler scored five runs in the seventh inning and were led by R Stills, M Diaz, D Lira, and G Rudd, who each had RBIs in the inning.

B Alasaukas took the win for Wheeler High School. He went five innings, allowing only one run on three hits and striking out four. D Venegas threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Tommy Morrissy took the loss for the Governors He surrendered seven runs on seven hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out six and walking none.

The Governors scattered five hits in the game. Josh Lamb and Angel Rameriez all managed multiple hits for MHS.

Wheeler High School racked up 12 hits in the game with Lira going 3-4, Stills, D Ruoff, and Venegas all managed multiple hits against MHS.

The Governors fell to 2-4 on the season and remained at 2-0 in GLAC conference play
